Not that long ago, the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange was filled with business-tie clad gladiators, climbing over each other in what looked like a capitalism-induced mosh pit. The Open Outcry pit had its language, its own weather, its own smell. Nowadays, these pits are more subdued. They still are populated with people, and some are gesturing to buy and sell, but most of the transactions are done digitally. It is this role where the computer has changed the way financial markets work; from the ground up.

Autocorrect. The world takes it for granted now, but at times, it can be as furious as it is fasting… err, fascinating. It plays such an integral part of our everyday lives, yet how much do you really know about this software?

It’s the new year and most technology websites are posting cute blog articles like, “The Top Gadgets of 2014,” or “The Hottest Technologies of 2015.” That’s all well and good, but for today’s blog we want to break with tradition and write about the latest mobile technology from 10 years ago. We think this will give everybody some perspective on “The Best Gadgets of 2014.”

People in 1967 were fascinated with new technology. During this era, technology advanced so quickly in such a short amount of time that people looked in wonderment at the future and made wild predictions at what the 2000s would look like.
